Well, I managed to fracture my wrist last weekend, so no knitting for me for awhile. Unfortunately, I was working on a hat, a scarf, a pair of socks and a number of other projects, so this is all very disappointing. Oh well. Now you know where I am and why I haven't been uploading pictures and completing projects.

Common Abbreviations
- BO = Bind Off
- CO = Cast On
- DPN(s) = double pointed needle(s)
- K = Knit
- K1fb = knit one into the front and back of the stitch
- K2tog = knit two together (decrease)
- P = Purl
- P2tog = purl two together (decrease)
- S = slip one stitch (will be knit/purl specified in pattern)
- Sts = stitches
Pattern Ratings
Beginner: These patterns will often use knitting, some purling, minimal color changes (ie, horizonal stripes) and very little finishing. Usually good for a first project.
Advanced Beginner: These will often include techniques like knitting in the round, multiple increases and decreases, some finishing and color techniques (ie, duplicate stitch).
Intermediate: These patterns include more advanced color techniques (Fair Isle or intarsia), cabling, more advanced finishing, possibly the dreaded Kitchener stitch or following a chart. Some knowledge of crocheting can be expected.
Advanced: Likely I won't post any patterns here for advanced knitting. In here, anything's fair game. One word: socks.
